THE FINALS has always had something special about it, and watching the skill expression continue to evolve has only reinforced that for me. And I've been able to see how teams think in THE FINALS since the very beginning, from organizing top teams for scrims before custom lobbies even existed, to casting the first official esports events with Twitch Rivals, I’ve had the privilege of seeing the competitive scene grow from the ground up through grassroots TOs like Breakout and PHL. For over three years now, I’ve coached across multiple orgs and titles, and I’m incredibly thankful to see the esports ecosystem in THE FINALS maturing now in such an exciting way. The Grand Major is only the beginning, and I'm coming for Scotty's job!

Hi! I'm Gerry, a lifelong musician and esports talent. Since the open beta I've been absolutely hooked on THE FINALS, and started casting the game in mid 2024. My commentary background was in R6, starting in 2019 - I'm drawn to titles that reward creativity and strategic depth, and THE FINALS immediately struck me as a gorgeous blend of chaos and competition. My commentary style is a bit wacky, I always try to make it feel like I'm at home watching a match with some mates, cracking jokes and showing our passion for the game. I'm an off-meta stooge, love the grapple Light, CL40, and any weapon that isn't full-auto (I have 30 year old man aim). When I'm not casting, or playing games, I'm probably teaching, writing, or playing music - mostly keyboards, but also drums, other percussion, and saxophone. The grassroots scene in THE FINALS is so welcoming and full of human gems, who've set a platform for myself and everyone coming up, as well as a solid foundation for the official esport to spring from! Looking forward to The Grand Major, and beyond.

THE FINALS is the FPS I've been waiting for my entire life. As soon as I tried it I was hooked and knew I wanted to get involved with the community. I started casting some of the first tournaments in the scene and quickly found myself being invited to even more events and ended up becoming a regular in the competitive scene. I'm incredibly thankful to be a caster in this scene and can't wait to show the world how uniquely awesome this game is at the highest level!
